150 MPG Car to be available for less than 20K

Ok, first of all, a 150 MPG car that will be available commercially is a far stretch for my little imagination. But when I hear that the car may be available by 2012 and it could be less than 20K, I go---COME ON NOW.

If you can't notice already, I have a hard time believing this. It doesn't make sense--having this type of a car that should be revolutionary and that it's actually pretty easy to get and not expensive? Oh my goodness, this is in clear violation of the supply and demand rhetoric that we've believed in for our entire lives. But then...I read more for me to get clarity, and it makes sense. First of all, the Antro Solo, as it will be called, it is coming from Hungary, and I shudder--not that I am someone who doesn't believe that things from other countries are worse than mine--I totally am to the extreme opposite of that at times--but when you consider that Hungary isn't exactly a burgeoning society, and so I think--how great of quality will this actually be? And then I read on that there are solar panels on it, and if the sun isn't shining enough to charge the battery's vehicles--for a 10-15 mile trip--that you can actually "pedal" the car, and if you want to be lazy, it uses a combustible tank that uses ethanol or petrol.

So--really--I think about this, and I believe that having this labeled as such is quite misleading. With all of these caveats in place, I believe that the idea of 150 MPG is at its exteme level of efficiency. While the design is cool enough (hello, back to the future!), and the car probably will be good overall in fuel economy, there's a reason why it IS in fact only 20K--and therefore the advertising that it is under now is in fact, an not valid or true when you break it down.
