While so many different models of cars continue to be built year after year, the idea that the sticker price will increase as sure as barrels of oil continue to rise in price. However, in an anomaly of sorts, the 2009 Pontiac Vibe will actually go DOWN in price for 2009.
So..what? Did they take out valuable options? What?
Actually--No.
Considering that all models come standard with four-wheel disc brakes, ABS, StabiliTrak traction control, OnStar and six airbags, this is an amazing deal to think that the base MSRP will be less than 16K, while the 2008 model is 17,395. The all-wheel-drive equipped Vibe will come in at just under $20k at $19,495, while the GT model is priced at $19,895.
For wagon/CUV lovers, this is a dream come true....And for the economy, it couldn't have come at a better time.

But the February delivery date slipped to March, then April, and now some dealers are saying early summer. Argh.
