Audi Canada posts record 6 month sales figures

For the majority of the world, it's been a total panic situation in terms of car sales and planning to stop the bleeding. But for Audi Canada, everything is coming up roses! (Or dollar signs, for that matter). In a recent press release from AC, the group has posted a record number of car sales in the first half of 2008--ever! The number breakdown:

Year to date sales up by 11.8%

June sales recorded at 729 units

6th record month of Certified Pre-Owned Sales

Not bad at all. It's nice to get some good news overall, isn't it? Also from the press release: The leading models in terms of sales were the A4 and S4 sedans and Avants, the sporty A3 and the Audi A6. June also recorded 370 CPO sales which translate into a year to date increase of 47%.

I can't say I am really floored by this, because all of those models are pretty darn nice, but to see the huge numbers overall--that is something I am still trying to wrap my head around. Congrats to Audi Canada and here's to bigger and better things to come!
