Average US Gas Prices--Sept 29, 2008

The average gas prices seemed to follow a welcomed trend this week: DOWN! With four dollar gas still very much in our minds, to see the averages to continue to go down--much as experts predicted, thank goodness! Here are the numbers:

East Coast $3.66 ↓ .06
-New England $3.53 ↓ .07
-Central Atlantic $3.56 ↓ .07
-Lower Atlantic $3.78 ↓ .04
Midwest $3.61 ↓ .15
Gulf Coast $3.60 ↓ .08
Rocky Mountain $3.60 ↓ .05
West Coast $3.64 ↓ .05
-California $3.67 ↓ .06

While the numbers continue to go down, people are still cynical as to the final drops and when the prices will shoot back up. Personally, with the fall months coming, spending already tight and the holidays coming up, gas will continue to go down, maybe even into the 3.00 range. Sad thing is, I would be happy with 3.00 gas.
