Car Care Guide now teaching to save gas and go green

carcareguide.jpg

The Car Care Guide is available free of charge in retail and repair shops. Normally it has been very popular (because it doesn't cost anything) and also because it explains things in very simple terms (for a car moron like me). The new version of the guide has added some key components--tips on saving gas and also different tips about going green.

The main link that the guide is trying to put across is that with proper maintenance and different things that can be done actually pretty easy, even the most mechanically-declined can be efficient in very easy ways. The question is--why did it take this long to put out in the magazine? It's not like the green movement is new, and gas has been on the rise for like--2 years....so I am glad this is happening, but come on guys, get with the times!!

"The new sections are designed to help people better understand that the amount of gas they use is directly related to how they maintain and drive their vehicle," said Rich White, executive director, Car Care Council. That's great, Rich..you may want to start developing your sections on the hybrid and electric car movement maybe, say, now???
