D-Day for Big Three: December 2

tesla_roadster_news_image_2.jpg

As the federal government continues to try to look for possible ways to assist the big three with their bailout request, the powers that be have indeed asked for a plan that would justify the 25 billion that they have asked for. As the leaders of Chrysler, GM, and Ford trudged away from the plea for more cash, they also had not even persuaded Congress to make a vote on whether even if they made a deal that they would get the 25B.

And now, the feds have gone a step further--the big three need a full plan by December 2nd. While that's good in terms of the sooner the better for the Big three in terms of potential disbursement, that's less than two weeks to give enough of an idea that will convince lawmakers to give that much of a substantial amount.

While I know that these big companies probably have tons of lawyers and big name executives working day and night, it's still a lot of pressure to have in that short amount of time--I realize that people have very little compassion for the situation that we're in, but we're talking about thousands and thousands of jobs right now at stake.
