FCX Clarity to finally roll off the production lines

FCX_Clarity_606.jpg

After 19 years of development, human beings have developed enough to vote for a leader of their country, drive a car, and almost be ready to “responsibly” drink. In the case of FCX Clarity by Honda, it’s taken 19 years to simply get it on the production lines.

Why? Well, because it will be the company’s first commercial production of a zero-emission, hydrogen fuel cell car. Honda states that the car will basically be three times better in terms of fuel economy than other traditional gas powered car. The FCX will run on a combo of hydrogen and electricity that produces only water vapor, and the production actually started today in Japan.

While there will only be initially 200 cars made available over the next three years, the fact that it’s going to be available in the fall and the impending demand that will follow tells me that this will be in mass production in no time as the demand increases probably tenfold.
