Fisker's got good Karma: Secures 65 million to fund premium plug-in car

There were lots of oohs and ahhs at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show, but there weren't many that had more than the concept car of the Karma, a premium sports car that is a plug-in electric hybrid. The specs show that the car can go from 0-60 in 6 seconds, fuel range of 300 miles, and 50 miles on electric alone. As the EVs continue to grow in future planning across the board, this may be one of the classiest one we'll see in this category.

And now--the company that is looking to put it into full-fledged production, Fisker--has secured 65 million dollars in Series C funding from Qatar Investment Authority, giving a very large green light to the plans that Fisker has to build 15,000 of these beauties every year.

Just look at the photo--it has style, it has grace--and its green technology as well as power give it the best of both worlds. No word on the pricing, but be prepared to pay a bunch for this--but just look at it!!! :)
