Ford Kuga Individual package revealed

ford_kuga_individual_main630-0927-636x360.jpg

In yet another situation where the US has had to wait for a smaller, economical car in the Ford Kuga, which has been available in Europe for quite some time, at least when the 2010 model rolls out, it will have some upgraded premium features and a turbo engine that should turn some heads at the Paris Motor Show, where these new additions will be revealed.

From Motor Authority: Styling is enhanced to match the new, more powerful engine inside. The interior will be available with a new Ford Individual treatment, following the Mondeo, S-Max, Galaxy and the new Fiesta. Ford is working hard to position the Kuga as a premium-level vehicle in Europe and the UK, and these upgrades are targeted to help achieve that goal. Some of the Ford Individual touches include all-new color schemes including a glossy 'Piano White' finish, premium quality materials like Nappa leather and contrasting textures.

I thought the look and the specs on this little daisy were actually pretty impressive--it's not a "blow away" type of look, but it's not really all that bad! With a powertrain now that boasts about 24 MPG US, it's not fabulous, but it's no pushover either. Even the exterior is getting some upgrades, such as a new "Ice White" (ooohhhh brrrrrrr), so it's apparent that in what is appearing to be a forthcoming slew of little cars, that Ford is trying to stylize itself a bit differently. Will it work? Probably!
