Internet now being used for car purchases more than ever

internet_code_large.jpg

Well, it was bound to catch on sometime. Companies like cars.com, edmunds.com, kbb.com, autotrader.com, as well as Ebay Motors making some huge noise, all have paved the way for consumers to make their way onto the internet now more than ever either to make car purchases or to do research.

A recent survey showed that a significant increase in those respondent now use the internet as their main and sometimes sole way of finding information on their automotive purchases, much in due part to slick marketing as well as simple little blogs like this one that talk about all that is going on with car makers around the world. As we all know, the internet moves as a lightning pace, so information, leaked photos, and rumors fly faster than any other medium, so expect for this trend to continue and become even bigger as time goes by. I will admit it; before the internet, the choices I had for getting information on cars was severely limited--and now--not so much :)
