Lumeneo Smera EV taking small to extreme

smera1.jpg

Ok, seriously. I used to look at the Smart cars and say, "that's just ridiculous". I mean, there's nothing really sporty about them, they are just freakishly small, and I can't take my eyes off them on the highway, not because they are mesmerizing, but just due to the different-ness they represent and the fact that I am not used to them yet--not because I like them.

So then I see this Lumeneo Smera EV, which is just in concept stage, which basically makes the NaNos look like Escalades. Ok, that's a bit much...but still--this two seat, four wheeled super slim dynamo basically is like a motorcycle with four wheels and a dome over it. There's not much difference--but it is eco-friendly.

The lithium ion battery can charge in a few hours, it can go about 93 miles before needing charged, and the engine can go as fast as 80 miles an hour. Not bad, but not exactly overpowering. The thing is though, the preliminary figures puts this at an opening cost of approximately of 34-51K--that's the only thing about it that's not small, and that's not necessarily a good thing...
