Mini Crossover concept photos revealed

And the oxymoron continues to grow. The MINI, BMW's little wonder that can't stay on the shelves and have spawned different and "progressive" styles of the MINI, including the convertible and Clubman series, is now going into an area where many are fearing to tread: the SUV world. The crossover concept, which is shown in the photo, is obviously the biggest produced model ever of a "MINI" variety, and maintains the style that MINI owners have come to love.

The car will be on display at the 2008 Paris Motor Show and you can bet that with the superb blend of quality that BMW has brought already to their own cars and this one especially--that the questions will be raised as to the size differential and its impact on such, including gas economy!

The back van door is a bit odd, but other than that--it's really one of the more intriguing SUVs/crossovers I've seen. I am sure that when we go for our next car/vehicle that my wife will be asking about this one! (It won't be out until 2010)
