Nissan gives a peek at the Cube at LA Auto Show

In a world where Mini Coopers can't stay on the shelves and Prius is becoming as much as a name to hybrid cars as Xerox was to copy machines, Nissan has fed off this energy by giving the world the "Cube", a diminutive box on wheels that is definitely one word: different.

For those that may have scoffed at the Scion xB, this may be just for you. A five seater that is powered by 1.8L 4 cylinder engine, the curious cube will go on sale stateside in Spring of '09. While there aren't a lot of details as to price, the thing that is clearly the biggest draw to it is the look--and Nissan will also offer a bunch of options to help out with those that may want a little more.
