Obama, McCain, and Paul--what do they drive?

election2008.jpg

Now, for the real issues. What kind of car do the US Presidential Candidates drive? Well, John McCain may be a stereotype defined, as with his age, one would normally think that he would be driving a bigger, more stylish, luxurious car, and you would be right, as he has a Cadillac CTS Sedan. It certainly is one of "boldness" and a "power" car. No word if he ever goes over the speed limit or not like most senior citizens that drive big boats and never use the huge engines that are in them....

Barack Obama, on the other hand, has hopped onto the green train along with Al Gore, as he drives a Ford Escape Hybrid. Although the SUV hybrid still is a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit of an oxymoron, it is still better than his Chrysler 300C that he used to drive before basically he got called out after his "shaming" of the American car makers and their "bigger but not necessarily better" approach that got them in trouble--which obviously he didn't think about before buying the 300C which 100% supports that philosophy he is denying....

And then there's libertarian Ron Paul. He may have the most down to earth menagerie of cars/trucks, as he has a Buick, old Lincoln and Ford truck. How much more American can you get?? While he may not even get second place, he certainly wins the car race, in my eyes.

Hey, it could be worse...they could own "foreign" cars (GASP! The scandal!!).
