Preview: 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

Does the Prius have a bonafide competitor in the hybrid world that it has dominated for so long? Well, considering the specs on the 2010 Ford Fusion hybrid, it just may. Sporting capabilities of getting 40 MPG in city traffic, the Fusion has a 156 HP engine that is 2.5L twin cam and 4 cylinders of power. The electric portion comes from a coupled 106 HP AC motor. With the Fusion able to go 47 MPH on just battery power, this is certainly a potent vehicle with a large potential for stardom.
