Study: Texting while driving worse than drugs, drinking

texting.jpg

While the only real detrimental thing that texting on a cell phone can do is to basically give you a shortcut to joint issues and arthritis--along with carpal tunnel, it does not really give you extreme health issues like drugs and drinking can do, both on a long and short term basis.

Until now.

A recent survey taken over in the United Kingdom showed that those that texted while driving had a 35% less response time as opposed to "regular" driving. Comparably, it only dropped 21 percent under the influence of marijuana, and 12 percent after consuming alcohol.

Likewise, those that were texting had a whopping 91% error rate in terms of staying within their immediate lanes or keeping a safe distance from cars, another statistical significantly higher number than driving while high or drunk.

The bottom line? Put ur fone down k? TTUL8R.
