Telecommuting gets boost with gas prices

telecommuting.gif

Telecommuting has been a rising trend in the job market over the last 10 years, and with the influx of gas prices and 4 buck a gallon gas, it has been noted that the telecommuting requests and perception of its benefits are now at an all-time high. Not only is this something that is a great thing for employees to be able to work from home just on the surface, but now it is giving a huge benefit of saving money on gas every day.

This obviously then plays into the fact that less people will be on the road every day during what are normally high traffic times and therefore increase those individuals' gas economy as well. It's a win-win situation as far as deflecting the pain that the gas pump seems to bring everyone nowadays.

Telecommuting was already a thing that was heading toward being the norm in the near future, and now with the gas prices dipping into wallets all over the country, this could rate as important as health insurance.
