The Aspid: High Power + High MPG=One Killer Car

Ok, does this thing NOT look like the second coming of the Batmobile or what? IFR Automotive, the Spain-based auto design company, has come up with the best of both worlds: A luxury sportscar that combines power and great fuel economy together. Its name: The Aspid. Even the name is cool!!

The 2.0 supercharged engine can take you from 0-60 in under 3 seconds, and from 0-100 in just under six seconds. Now, I don't know when I will be needing to be going 100 MPH in six seconds, but it's nice to know I have that availability should I need to. What the best thing is that also combined with a super low emissions package, the car can get 49 MPG on the highway. No, that's not a typo, you read that right.

Not shabby, eh?

I didn't find a price tag on this, but with these gaudy stats and the label of "luxury", you can bet it may have six figures. Either way, it's definitely a step in the right direction that everyone can be happy with.
